FAQ
Why is MOpza virtual this year instead of in-person?
Great question! We know the change might surprise some people. Here's the honest answer: running in-person at the scale and frequency we wanted wasn't working. But when we announced we were stepping away from that format, the community made it clear that MOpza matters too much to let go.
So we listened. Going virtual in 2026 lets us reach more people, reduce barriers (no travel, lower costs, global access), and build MOpza in a way that can grow sustainably. This isn't a compromise. It's an intentional evolution.
And here's the exciting part: Pro and Pro+ members will help shape what comes next. They'll get early access to session proposals, speaker voting, and exclusive input on future event formats as we continue building MOpza with the community. If MOpza matters to you, membership is how you're part of that future.

Will MOpza ever return to an in-person or hybrid format?
Maybe! We're building MOpza to be flexible and community-driven. Virtual in 2026 gives us a strong foundation to grow from and we're listening closely to what the community wants for the future.
Pro and Pro+ members will have the earliest insight and input into what comes next, whether that's hybrid formats, regional meetups, or something we haven't imagined yet. If you want to be part of shaping MOpza's future, membership is how you do it.
